An Introduction
In the pine-scented interior of Ibizau2019s central valley, Cas Gasi exists in a category that no other hotel on the island occupies: the genuinely private, agricultural, four-square luxury finca experience. Twelve rooms and suites within a restored Ibizan farmhouse, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and herb gardens that supply the propertyu2019s Michelin-recognised restaurant.
Guests who find their way to Cas Gasi u2014 and it requires intention: the hotel does not advertise aggressively u2014 arrive to find a world that exists entirely on its own terms. The noise of the coast, the energy of the clubs, the social theatre of the beach clubs: none of it reaches here.
Our Opinion
Cas Gasi is for a very specific kind of traveller u2014 one who has done Ibiza the other way and found that they prefer this. The food is exceptional (the garden-to-table philosophy here predates the trend by years), the rooms are beautifully appointed, and the silence is something that guests returning from the terrace at midnight describe with a reverence that suggests theyu2019ve spent weeks in the Mediterraneanu2019s noisiest island longing for exactly this.
