An Introduction
Ca Na Xica occupies a carefully restored Ibizan finca in the valley of Sant Miquel u2014 an area of the island that retains the agricultural character that much of Ibiza has sacrificed to tourism. The 24 rooms and suites are individually styled with a collectoru2019s sensibility: antiques, local ceramics, handwoven textiles, and art by local artists combine to create spaces that feel genuinely inhabited rather than assembled.
The hotel has become a reference point for the conscious luxury traveller who wants the beauty of the island without the commercial noise of the coast. The food programme, drawing heavily on the propertyu2019s own garden and local producers, reflects the same values.
Our Opinion
Ca Na Xica does bohemian luxury better than almost anywhere in the Mediterranean. The aesthetic is consistent without being designed u2014 it feels like a house that has been lovingly gathered over years rather than executed by an interior studio. The pool terrace at midday, with the valley spread below, is one of the genuinely satisfying hotel experiences available in Ibiza.
