56.000 m² of pine forest on the cliff between Cala Conta and Cala Codolar. The 54-meter infinity pool, the Cone Club, and the Cliff area suites face directly west, with Es Vedrà on the horizon. The resort is located at Carrer Puig Delfín s/n, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, on the cliffs of Ibiza's west coast. The address is administrative; in reality, you're on a winding road through pine trees leading to the resort, with nothing remarkable around. This is both an asset and a drawback.
Distances that matter
Airport: 25 minutes. Far enough away not to hear planes. Ibiza Town and Dalt Vila: 30-35 minutes. It's worth going one evening, but it's not something you do spontaneously. Sant Antoni: 20 minutes, the leisure capital of the west. Saint Joseph: 10 minutes to the nearest town for basic shopping.
The surrounding beaches: the truth
Codolar Cove: A 5-minute walk along the resort path. A pebbly cove with crystal-clear water. Small, peaceful, and genuinely charming. It's not a sandy beach, but the water is extraordinary. The resort has a staircase leading down to the cliff with platforms overlooking the sea.
Cala Conta: A 5-minute drive. One of Ibiza's most photographed beaches: turquoise water in various shades, islets, and white sand. Very crowded in August (arrive before 10:00) but spectacular in June and September. Probably the most beautiful beach you can easily reach from 7Pines.
Cala Bassa: 10 minutes, with a lively beach club. Is Torrent: 20 minutes, no crowds and with the best seafood restaurant on the west coast.
Can you enjoy 7Pines without leaving the resort?
Yes, absolutely. Four restaurants, two swimming pools, a 1.500 m² spa, water sports, and yachts for excursions. If you don't want to leave for four days, the resort can handle it. But Ibiza's west coast is too good to ignore.
Sandbeds Tip:What surprises many guests is that road access to the resort is more rudimentary than expected. The road is narrow and winding. If you arrive at night in August, tired from your journey, you'll definitely feel it. Arriving during the day, in daylight, makes the drive through the pine forest part of the experience.

7Pines doesn't have rooms. It has 185 suites and 2 Grand Villas. The difference isn't just semantic: all include a separate living room, a House Bar restocked daily with drinks and snacks, and a terrace or balcony. The minimum standard is already well above what most five-star hotels offer.

The People of Ibiza It is the largest area: whitewashed houses in the Ibizan style, distributed over several levels. Garden Suite y Garden Suite Deluxe (53-65 m²) have a private garden but views into the interior. Garden Pool Suite They add a private pool. Resort Infinity Suite Deluxe (65 m²) have a balcony with partial sea views. Sandbeds Tip:When booking in La Laguna, not all suites have ocean views. If ocean views are a priority for you, please specify this explicitly when booking or by calling the hotel directly. 7Pines has a reasonably flexible suite assignment policy if you request it in advance.
What each suite includes

What the website doesn't tell you: the suites at Pueblo Ibicenco have more greenery and natural shade than the Cliff Suites. In July and August, a 40°C afternoon will make you appreciate a shady garden more than a sunny terrace.

Mandatory reservation 2-4 weeks in advance in July-August. Each request is worthwhile.

A cocktail costs between €20 and €25. It's worth it.
Laguna Pool Bar

The beach bar in the family area. A food truck serving quality Summer Bites: quick, well-executed snacks. Unpretentious and perfectly natural. It's exactly what a family with children needs to be fed without leaving the pool.
Which restaurants are worth booking in advance? In that order: first the Cone Club for sunset on the first day (to gauge whether you live up to its promise), then Nela for an evening of fine dining. If you arrive with a Cliff Suite reserved and those two tables confirmed, your stay is already structured.
What surprises many guestsRestaurant prices are high, even by Ibiza's luxury standards. A dinner for two at Nela with wine easily exceeds €300. A cocktail at the Cone Club costs €20-25. The hotel is expensive. The sunset experience is priceless and cannot be found on any online travel agency.

Infinity pool — the resort's visual asset
54 meters long with a 9-meter glass wall. The pool seems to stretch on forever: the water and the Mediterranean merge seamlessly. Facing west, it's for adults only (13+) and open from 11:00 AM to 19:00-20:00 PM. In August, it's best to arrive by 11:00 AM if you want a sun lounger on the front row. It's adults-only, and the atmosphere is relaxed, never hectic.
Laguna Pool — Family Life
Livelier and with more natural shade. Surrounded by the La Laguna suites, with an adjacent Kids Club and swim-up options. If you're traveling with children, this is the place for you.
Does 7Pines have a sandy beach? The truth
No. 7Pines doesn't have a private sandy beach. It does have Cala Codolar a 5-minute walk away (a pebble cove with exceptional water) and clifftop platforms with steps leading down to the sea. For fine sand, Cala Conta is a 5-minute drive away. If a private sandy beach is your top priority, this isn't the hotel for you. If the sea in its purest form—even if it's rocky—is enough for you, Cala Codolar is one of the best-kept secrets of the west coast.

Family Suite Two-Bedroom In La Laguna, they're the logical choice: two separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a terrace, and easy access to the kids' club. If you want more space and privacy with your own pool, the Garden Pool Suite Two-Bedroom (119 m²) are the best option.

Yachting & Excursions
Pershing yachts: how to navigate from 7Pines
7Pines has its own fleet of luxury yachts: a Pershing 5X or with a Pershing 9X with crew included. It's one of the few resorts in Ibiza that offers this at this level.
The must-do excursion: Formentera
45-60 minutes from the west coast to the colorful waters you've already seen in photographs. Eat at Juan y Andrea—the best fresh fish restaurant in Formentera—and return in time for sunset at the Cone Club. This day trip is, in the opinion of Sandbeds, the best excursion available from any hotel in Ibiza.
Other options
Private dinners on board: The resort's chef prepares bespoke menus at sea. The Pershing 9X can accommodate a dinner for 8-10 people. Watersports: Jet Tender, SeaBob for diving, and Jet Ski included on board. Underwater visibility off the west coast of Ibiza is exceptional from June to September.

When that's a hotel's main selling point, everything else—the spa, the restaurants, the suites—is supporting. What's interesting is that at 7Pines, the supporting elements are also top-notch.
The Cone Club at 19:30 pm on any summer evening, with the sun in the final stages of its descent over Es Vedrà and the music tuned so as not to interrupt conversation, has no equivalent in any other hotel in Ibiza. Not as a marketing promise: as a verifiable reality.
Three things that Sandbeds considers undervalued: (1) Cala Codolar at 9:00 a.m., before anyone else arrives: the water is crystal clear, something you wouldn't expect just 5 minutes from the hotel. (2) The House Bar included in all suites: the quality of what they offer is not the standard five-star minibar. (3) The spa's longevity services: most guests are unaware of them upon arrival.

(2) Service in August: with the hotel at 100% occupancy, the level is lower than in June or September. (3) The beach: 7Pines does not have a sandy beach. Cala Codolar is extraordinary, but it is not a conventional beach. If they don't tell you this clearly before you book, it's not because they forgot.
The resort you'll find in 2025 is the best in its seven-year history: the spa has taken a real leap forward, Nela is a more ambitious culinary offering than its predecessor, Kivo, and the Hyatt infrastructure has improved service without compromising its character. For the discerning traveler who understands what it offers, it's hard to find a reason to go anywhere else on Ibiza's west coast.
