What is the best month to visit Dubai?
February and March are the best months: perfect weather (22–30°C), warm sea, all venues open, and a vibrant social scene at its peak. December and January offer equally good weather but with the highest prices of the year (especially New Year's Eve). October and November are a good alternative if you want both good prices and good weather. June–September are for those who can tolerate extreme heat (40–48°C) in exchange for hotel prices that are 40–60% lower.
How to get to Dubai from Europe?
Emirates Airlines operates direct flights from Madrid, Barcelona, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and other major European cities. Flydubai, Air Arabia, and other low-cost carriers with layovers also serve the route. The flight time is 6–7 hours from Western Europe. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is one of the world's busiest airports and is a 20–30 minute metro or taxi ride from the city center.
Do I need a visa to go to Dubai?
Citizens of the EU, USA, UK, Australia, and most Western countries do not need a visa in advance: they receive a free 30-day visa upon arrival at the airport.
